Many of the journals published by the Institute of Physics (IoP) make their papers available for free for 30 days from the date of online publication. One of my favorite journals is Plasma Sources and Technology. This month there is a large list of papers ranging from the dynamics of fireballs (not what you might think) to capillary discharges and lots of other topics. You do have to register to read the papers but it's a simple process.
